Reception and orientation

A place dedicated to meetings and rest, a space for reception and orientation, for  information and documentation, our cultural space offers everyone the opportunity to discover Japan, to adapt to the city of Lyon or to just feel back home for a while during a long stay in France.

 

The Shop

Come and get the opportunity of being immersed in a multifaceted Japanese world where tradition and modernity meet : unexpected objects, gifts, clothes, food …

Our bookshop space offers a selection of useful books to study Japanese and also discover the Japanese culture.

The Lounge

At the lounge of our library, in a calm and relaxing atmosphere, you will feel free to browse newspapers, magazines and books in Japanese and in French.

A TV set with Japanese programmes gives everyone the opportunity to improve their understanding or feel back home …

A board for personal ads in French and Japanese is at the disposal of those who wish to leave a note for all our visitors. 

And why not taste one of the products of the shop in the lounge, over a cup of tea.

 

 

 

 

 

The Library 

Our collection of books in Japanese and French is available for free in our reading section. More than 1500 novels, mangas, art books and essays !

Borrowing from our library is also available to our students and to the members of  our association.
